O Festival Afropunk é um evento anual de arte que celebra música, cinema, moda e arte produzidos por artistas negros alternativos. Originário em 2005 na Brooklyn Academy of Music em Nova York, o festival se expandiu globalmente. Até 2018, Festivais Afropunk haviam ocorrido em várias grandes cidades, incluindo Atlanta (EUA), Paris (França), Londres (Reino Unido), Salvador (Brasil), Dakar (Senegal) e Joanesburgo (África do Sul).

Nossos influenciadores também produziram materiais divulgando a conexão entre o jogo e o festival, convidando suas audiências a participar das festividades da edição de 2023.

With the aim of highlighting the significance of the event, we created content promoting the lineup of artists and attractions at the festival. Our influencers also produced materials publicizing the connection between the game and the festival, inviting their audiences to join the festivities of the 2023 edition.

Evento

Dando visibilidade aos agentes negros do jogo, tivemos um totem no evento contando as histórias de Phoenix, Astra e Raze. Isso proporcionou uma oportunidade para o público aprender mais sobre o universo do jogo e também serviu como ponto de encontro durante o festival. O totem também contava com estações de carregamento de celular, adicionando valor utilitário como ponto de encontro no festival.

Além disso, para solidificar essa conexão com os eventos, envolvemos o palco do evento com uma tela de LED, transmitindo toda a energia do festival que aconteceu em Salvador. Também estabelecemos a ligação do festival AfroPunk com outros eventos em São Paulo/SP e Rio de Janeiro/RJ, transmitindo ao vivo os shows.

A comunidade adorou permanecer conectada e, mais do que isso, adorou competir entre si! Portanto, tivemos uma estrutura dedicada em cada festa para influenciadores e participantes se enfrentarem no modo Team Deathmatch.

Event

Giving visibility to the black agents in the game, we had a totem at the event telling the stories of Phoenix, Astra, and Raze. This provided an opportunity for the audience to learn more about the game's universe and also served as a meeting point during the festival. The totem also featured cellphone charging stations, adding utilitarian value as a gathering point at the festival.

Furthermore, to solidify this connection with the events, we enveloped the event stage with an LED screen, broadcasting the entire energy of the festival that took place in Salvador. We also established the link of the AfroPunk festival with other events in São Paulo/SP and Rio de Janeiro/RJ by livestreaming the shows.

The community loved staying connected and, more than that, enjoyed competing against each other! Therefore, we had a dedicated structure at each party for influencers and participants to face off in Team Deathmatch mode.
